Our workshop experience at the Padova Vintage Festival has been a blast! A good teaching experience for both us and the audience. We tried to focus on what most lectures often lack of: connection between speaker’s experience and the audience. Enrico and I talked about concepts and technicalities of creating personal projects – in our opinion the real core of a photographer’s attempt to succeed. A lecture, followed by an animated still life set (by the way, we apologize for the ones who weren’t able to take part because of limited space, lesson learned- ) . Stay tuned to see the results of the shooting and to find out the winner of the contest is.

Shoot, share, get noticed.
We’re putting the final touches to our lecture “Shoot, Share, Get Noticed” for the Vintage Festival in Padova. The workshop/laboratory we’ve been asked to produce, will touch interesting topics on advertising photography, conceptual thinking, self promotion and, last but not least, a practical section in which we will be lighting and photographing.
The whole event is free, and the other workshops are very, very cool as well. Come say hi to us, it’s always nice to get some support.

Rusty tanks and very hot asphalt.
Yesterday our friend and coworker Nicola Saccoccia picked up his newly fixed bike in Terracina, we brought him there by car, had an amazing lunch with his family and followed him on the way back to Rome. We think the rusty surfaces of the bike look glorious.
Just eat!

Ladies and gentlemen, please spend a couple of hours with us on the world famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk! And don’t forget to take a ride on the Giant Dipper (not pictured).

North Shore Adventures
While visiting Oahu’s North Shore with my girlfriend Livia, I’ve met a bunch of cool guys, which rented us a supercool treehouse in front of the world famous Sunset Beach. Summer isn’t the best season for surfing here so we went with John, Anton, Paul and Pita to a secret spot where they kite surfed. Everyone had a blast over there and we also saw some huge sea turtles! Thank you for the good time guys, can’t wait for the moonlight surfing tonight!
